Top End Golf! Academy
| Based at the Darwin Golf Club and led by resident professional Nathan Campfield, the Top End Golf Academy is perfect for those golfers with intentions to become better players and learn mor about the game. |
| The Academy caters for the beginner to the advanced player with a wide range of programs to suit all levels of skill and ability. It is also possible to customise a program of your own. |
| You can become a member of the Academy for only $40 per year. For this you will receive monthly specials, a two-for-one game at the Darwin Golf Club, a stubby cooler, the latest golf ball as it is released, and your coach will stay in touch with you via email so you can report on the progress of your game. |

Group Clinics |
 |
We have regular weekly Open Group Clinics every Monday evening at Darwin Golf Club. The coaching starts at 5:30 PM and concludes at 6:30 PM. We also run a Ladies Only group clinic on Tuesday nights from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. |
| One of our professionals will be on site at the driving range to give you a few tips and work with you individually on the things you want to improve on. The cost of the Group Clinic session is $15.00. |
| If you are just starting out and don't have any clubs we will be happy to provide them for you....and you can hit as many balls as you like! |
| |
Also on Monday nights you can play with a pro. You will need to book for this and spaces are limited on a weekly basis. |

| We also offer a range of more in-depth coaching sessions and programs, which aim to drill deeper into your game and provide further, long-term improvements: |

| Your swing is recorded on video and analysed by our professional. Based on the findings the session will focus on improving your technique, and at the end of the session we will again record your swing. |
| You will be given a DVD to take home to watch on you computer or DVD player. The 'before and after' recordings will serve as a good reminder of what you need to work on in your swing. You should watch the video prior to going out to practice. |

| As we get a bit older we tend to lose fitness. We don't hit the ball as crisply or as far as we used to. Our 'Play Beyond 80!' program will help you retain your playing ability way past you sixties, or help you get it back, if you feel that you have already lost some of your ability. Just because your age is blowing out, it doesn't necessarily mean that your handicap has to! |

Golf Strategy |
 |
As much as golf is a game of skill with the clubs and ball, the way you prepare for an important game and think your way through the round has as much influence on the final result as has your skill with the clubs. |
| The tuition and coaching provided by Top End Golf! professionals will also cover the mental aspect of the game. We will teach you to consider your options and choose the right one for any situation you might encounter on the course. |

Junior Development |
 |
Our Junor Golf Program is run in conjunction with Darwin Golf Club. |
| The weekly coaching session is held from 8.30 to 9.30am each Saturday and is followed by a nine hole competition. |
| In addition to teaching the juniors how to play golf, the program puts strong emphasis on having fun and developing skills like sportsmanship, fairness, etiquette and leadership. |
| The junior players are graded into three levels categorized by ability, etiquette, good character and leadership. A monthly skills test provides all juniors with a goal to reach in order to become a full playing junior member with an official handicap. Upon reaching this level (red) juniors will also receive a red golf bag. |
| The juniors will play for a Monthly Medal with an engraved mounted trophy up for grabs for the winners. |
| To accompany the monthly medals there are half yearly and annual competitions conducted with some great trophies and prizes for all competitors. |
| New players are encouraged to attend the beginners coaching session, which is held at 3-4pm on Saturday afternoons at the cost of $5.00 |
| Becoming a junior member of the Darwin Golf Club club is priced very cheaply at $55.00 per year. Juniors will receive a coloured tour card, golf shirt, cap and balls and tees. |
